Molsey Kennedy Hodges

I have a different father and mother for Molsey Kennedy, wife of Henry Hodges. My information states that her father was, Joseph Kennedy and mother was Sally Wallace, daughter of James and they were from Duplin Co., North Carolina.
Joseph Kennedy was married twice, first to Sally Wallace and the to Sylvin Sandlin. Joseph and Sylvin appear in Barbour Co., Ala. in the 1850 census and then in Dale Co., Ala. in the 1860 census. They are buried in the Kennedy Family Cemetery in Midland City, Dale Co., Ala.
I haven't found any documentation where Molsey Kennedy Hodges was the daughter of John A. Kennedy.
Please advise.

Molsey Kennedy Hodges

I failed to notice that there were two lines of thought being posted regarding Molsey Kennedy's parents. My comments stand but now I realize that they had already been posted.

Yes, you told me that once

Yes, you told me that once before but did not follow up. I haven't looked at her parents in several years and don't remember how I picked those. Honestly I don't put much effort into inlaws and your guess is as good as mine.

Inlaws?

I wouldn't call the parents of Molsey Kennedy In_Laws. Molsey was my gggrandmother and her parents would be my 3xgrandparents. I believe that you would agree that they are in your direct line of ancestors???
Isn't this site about the Hodges Family and what makes up this family and not just those who have Hodges as a last name?
Have a good day,
Gerald

Thing is the same is true for

Thing is the same is true for my mothers parents, my grandmothers parents and so on back 11 generations or so. That's a lot of people to research when I'm still finding Hodges I didn't know about all the time. Not to mention trying to gather more info on the ones I already know about. That is where I prefer to focus my attention, not to take anything away from the importance of my maternal lines. My goal is to record the Hodges accurately as possible. I hope that someone else will do the same for the Kennedys, the McClards, the Williams and so on and at some point we can connect.
